Two months left in London. Gonna make a real cool memory here.

Living in the centre of London now, studies Art & Archaeology at School of Oriental and African Studies. As a exchanged student from Doshisha Uni, I have only a few months left here. I would love to travel to Africa during my stay here. My interests---Hot Chocolate, Cadbury, Yaiko, football, cosmetics, lions, spoons and ceilings. And I truely hate pigeons and butterflies!! Yuck.

Wow, I didn't know that I can drink beer.
I mean I used to feel sick but now I realised that I actually can
drink it.
Well, I don't realy fancy it though.
This morning at last I was able to sleep twice, without waking up.
I couldn't for weeks coz once I wake up my head went straight
working to the topic I hate to think about.
Yesterday I was weak but today I'm strong again.
Party at Terry's was fun. chatting chatting chatting.
And I made sushi. I have'n made anything properly for 3 weeks and
haven't cooked for anyone for a long time.
"Some" people say I can't cook, but e-hem, excuse me, I can!

Today I went to National Gallery.
Saw my favourite pics made me feel good and sad.
Vincent Van Gogh was cool. Found something new today.
Bought Raphael's St Catherine of Alexandria.
Nice use of colours.
But we had to immediately evacuate the building. wow never
happened.
Had nothing to do, I just sat on the steps of Trafalger Sq.
Good old memories went through my head.
Tough memory for me.
Almost a week left till 'that day'.
But I can't do anything.
There's only one way for me.
Forget it.

Eight in the morning.
Cloudy London.
Feeling sick, I woke up at half five.
I guess I drunk far too much last night.
My exam is over now and May is over.
New month again.
Everything is over.
I am definately going to change.
New Haruna from this month.
Forget everything and move on.
This is all I can do now.

Ethiopia-Christianity
4 AD advert of Christianity
330 AD conversion of King Ezana, the first king ho built a church in Ethiopia.
slowly, archaeologically visible,king--bottom.

started late 3AD. Gold--India, Rome and Persia. Sovereign.
International trade--similar size,weight and design with Rome.
pagan---'son of Mahrem'-- 'servant of Christ', crescent and disk--cross.

Stelae Park.
Stele 1 = highest 33m. From the basement it as never erected. There is a false door and the doorhandle is chipped away. Philipson suggests this is a denial of pagan belief. It was made during 3 and 4 AD, time of transition.
Stele 2 = Italy Mussolini but recently returned to Ethiopia.
Stele 3 = Stands in the park. Has false door too.
Why and ho it was constructed is not known.
After the advert of Christianity, the number of stelea reduced number. Multiple burial stopped after conversion.

Made during the transition. Aksumite monkey head are seen but has no stele.

Alwa-Soba
Roman Emperor Justinian's wife, Theodora sent an secret missionary to Nabatia and Alwa and converted them into Monophysite(coptic). This was recorded by Johm of Ephesus.
He is a Monophysite and does not mention about Makouria so probably Makouria was a Melkite Christology which was Justinian's belief. This was recorded by John od Biclar
Monophysite= single nature--partly divine and partly human.
It was converted quick.
King--bottom.
6AD.
Archaeologically visible.

Christian- west=head, foot=east. No grave good. Layed on back.
Pagan- crouched, grave good.HUman and animal sacrifice.

Basilica-Egyptian influence.
Meroitic temple and cathedral converted into Christian.
Looking only archaeologically it is hardly impossible to judge whether it was Monophysite or Melkite. Only the written document can be relied which ever Christology they were.
